at 8am we we too eshed with too pick up computers then went too the classroom upstair and he gave us a little introduction on alternative roof cladding.
like - clay tiled roofs
       - concrete tiled roofs
       - skylights
       -membraine roofs
       -pressed metal tiled roofs
and that the facia has too be level with the overhang for a clay roof and the same for the concrete roofing.

that took til like 9am then we went back too eshed and done more computer work and i done the scaffolding assessment then at 9.30 we went too the workshop and matt explain too us to what we were going to do today we blit in 2 groups 1 group done the window flashings and group 2 which i was  in was doing the roofing so we got the sheet from outside and took them inside in a stack.
til 10am then we had a smoko break then after 10.20am we started doing the roofing til 12pm then had lunch break til 1pm then went back to the workshop and done more roofing til 3pm then had last break then at 3.20pm we done blogging and more assessments work til 4pm then done a quick clean up til 4.30pm then home.

at 8am we went too the eshed and done started the assessment for roof cladding til 9am and then went the workshop and we started doing the nailing up of the weather boards til 10am then we had smoko break.
at 10.20am we went in the house and put a window in. then after that we done the rest of the nailing up the weather boards up and after that i helped tk and daryn put the fibre cement sheet up in the perimeter of the house.
then after that i started doing the construction of the scaffolding on the outside of the house til 12pm then had lunch break til 1pm then went back too the workshop and carried on with the scaffold construction til 3pm til 3.20pm then went to the workshop and we done a quick clean up and that was us for the day..

today we went too the classroom and we went over the sealants assessment

sealants:
Glue
Silicone
Liquid products
Expanding foam
Paint
Putty
Bostic- Silicone
a/ Describe the recommended use of the sealant:
-metal roofing systems 
-flashing and down pipes 
-laps joists and zincalume, colourbond and other BHP decorable sheet- metal 
-skylights and extractions units 
-pipe or sprinkler system penetrations 
-air conditioning 
-sheet- metal 
-general purpose adhering and sealing, building materials, sheet, aluminium concrete
-brick and masonry 
-block or brickwork 

sealant: sikasil wet areas.
a/ Describe the first aid requirement use of the sealant:
-to avoid rare allergic reactions we recommend the use of protective gloves. change soiled work clothes and wash hands before breaks and after finishing
-local regulations as well as health and safety advice on packaging labels must be observed
-for further information refer to the sika material safety data sheet which is available on request
-if in doubt always follow the directions given on pack or label
*After ingestion
-rinse mouth with water. if swallowed, drink plenty of water seek immediate medical assistance.
*General instructions
-in any case show the physician the material safety data sheet (or label)
*After Inhalation
-remove to fresh air
-if systoms persist, seek medical assistance
*After skin contact
-wash with plenty of soap and water. if systoms persist, seek medical assistance
*After eye contact
in case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately for at least 15 minutes with plenty of water.

we done the research for the assessment til 10am then we had first smoko for the day til 10.20am
then after that we went the eshed and started on some more weather board til mark called me and a few others for doing a window so we got all the tools that we needed then had lunch break at 12pm til 1pm then mark showed us how to install a window measuring and leveling and also filling the gaps then screwing it in.
